    <description>&lt;p&gt;Well, the problem is not about VLC, but about the 3rd party libs that can't be build under MSVC, like ffmpeg. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So if you do so, you will not be able to have a functionnal VLC.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

&lt;p&gt;I'd like to! But I need it compiled with MSVC (for my project).     <description>&lt;p&gt;Of course, many windows users downloads a few times VLC media player.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;But, linux users are not counted, and neither the indirect links, indirect mirrors, etc...&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So, it gives a good idea of the number of users. :D&lt;/p&gt;</description>
