Here there are!</p> <h2>Howto install VLC 0.8.6 under dapper</h2> <p>I hope that you are able to deal with a computer, synaptic or sources.list</p> <h3>Add a new repository</h3> <ul> <li>Add</li> </ul> <blockquote><p>deb ftp://ftp.videolan.org/pub/videolan/ubuntu dapper universe</p></blockquote> <p>to you/etc/apt/sources.lists or synaptic.</p> <h3>Update the packages list</h3> <ul> <li>Run</li> </ul> <blockquote><p>sudo apt-get update</p></blockquote> <h3>Install</h3> <ul> <li>And</li> </ul> <blockquote><p>sudo apt-get install vlc libvlc0 vlc-nox mozilla-plugin-vlc vlc-plugin-alsa vlc-plugin-esd wxvlc</p></blockquote> <p>should do the trick.
