Do you still like it? I've been considering buying a T61p with the 1920x1200 and an add-on ultrabay HD adapter, but I've only seen bad reviews of the screen and a few posts saying that the thinkvantage backup won't backup to the ultrabay HD - which is kind of absurd.

I set mine up last night. It blows everything else I have out the water... I mean I do have a good reception setup and all, stacked UHF antennas, VHF yagi, tower, LNA etc but this thing pulls in stations that the others don't even see are there. I only wish there was a more portable version available that didn't need a separate wall wart. Oh well!!!

hey, I know this is a fairly old issue, but if you could either post back, or email me a guide on how to switch to Vista bootloader and then back to grub, please do so. Because I have a dual boot ubuntu vista laptop, and I don't know how grub got on there (probably during the ubuntu install) and therefore I don't know what "the usual tools" are.

bonne chance en tout cas pour faire marcher la bête

vais aller lire les articles pour compiler sur hardy, je vais exploser une durit à essayer de compiler sous cygwin ... (même pseudo sur le fofo officiel .... d'ailleurs je devrais peut être écrire en anglais pour avoir 1 chouilla plus de suggestions d'aides :D)

je pense que ton PC a un souci si tu as des BSOD tous les 2 jours ... j'ai vista 64, 4gig de mémoire et aucun écran bleu (sauf si je branche un 2eme écran, ma carte graphique étant malade mais osef).

par contre j'avais une carte mère asus (p5w-dh) qui me faisait de plus en plus de bsod sur ce même vista 64, 4gigs de mémoire ..... j'ai cru qu'elle me grillait les barettes mémoires (en changeant ça allait mieux) mais en fait c'était le contrôleur mémoire qui mourrait lentement ... méfiance pour ta nouvelle mobo ...

I found the same issue too, with an English version of Vista Business.

I tried Windows Update again, check whether any updates failed in the Windows Update History, but none seem to have failed...

If you find a solution, please let me know also... Thanks.

Got 0x800F0826 also. Have tried 3 times. What a worthless operating system. MS should be ashamed ....except that they have our cash. I am such a fool for installing this putrid garbage in the first place.

yap, the german recovery disks restore the hidden partition to. the partition is now again one hidden and one large system partition.

vista is just so unstable ..... should of waited till the proper release comes out altho im not sure if im gna get it for my laptop yet mmmm.....
